A realtor by profession, Debbie Leiba is also a talented creative artist. She holds a B.A. in Design from Howard University in Washington, D.C.
Debbie started Initial Abstracts in 2006. She experiments with many different styles, mediums, and thematic elements and finds the exploration of biographical art especially intriguing.
Debbie is originally from New Jersey and now lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with her family. She enjoys an especially close relationship with her sister, Cindy. In 2008, Cindy received a diagnosis of breast cancer. The sale of Initial Abstracts artwork will help offset the cost of Cindy's treatment.
